Clean Energy Connection (CEC) has just launched its latest creation, Clean Energy Automobiles [http://cleanenergyautomobiles.com]. “There is unprecedented interest in clean energy automobiles. The public is hungry for information but they’re not going to read long science papers or get excited over charts. Our site will allow visitors to get acquainted with electric cars and the road ahead. There are dozens of videos for every article and we hope to keep that ratio across the brand,” says Kathy Beyer-Conrad, a spokesperson for Clean Energy Connection.
Clean Energy Automobiles already has hundreds of videos and articles and is growing every week. “One of the many effects of the recession is a huge surge in interest in all things ‘Clean Energy’. Most people have seen electric cars on the news and they’re excited about the prospect of a gas-less automobile. Clean Energy Automobiles will bring the electric car closer to home.” said Beyer-Conrad.
The new site offers industry-specific information about vehicles that use clean energy. This includes electric scooters, hybrid cars, natural gas vans and buses, conversion kits, electric cars, solar cars, electric bikes, wind powered cars, hydrogen fuel cell cars, and other clean and electric vehicles. This allows consumers to really understand what’s out there, so that when they go buy a car, they have a much better idea of what they can get.
“Companies have clean energy products but no one knows to buy it, or that it even exists. Our site bring customers and vendors together. This is why we see the site growing at a tremendous rate,” said Kyle Vanderbe, a technician at CEC, “and now we’re just patiently waiting to see these [clean energy] cars on the road.”
